Got this for my rising 9th grade son and he loves it! It's literally the only protective neck LS shirt he will wear! Definitely going to get another!
Seems well made. Very lightweight but solid. Cuffs hold position well. Was a bit concerned about the feel of the neck closure but I didn’t notice any discomfort during play. Elbow ‘gel pattern’ keeps pads in place.
Sr-Large fits well for my 5’-11”, 165 lb frame.

The shirt is really lightweight and comfortable. I ordered one and it came in a lot smaller than I expected so I contacted them and exchanged it no problem at all. I will purchase another for my other hockey player as well.
This neck guard shirt is teen approved! He says it’s comfortable and not too heavy. Getting him to wear a neck guard has been a challenge. The wrist protection is a bonus!

I’m 6’3” and 200lbs, this is a Sr-L. Collar fits perfectly with almost 3 inches of travel/adjustment (my neck is fairly thick for my size/weight, and fastened with very soft touch Velcro. I typically wear an L T-shirt if looking for a snug fit, or XL for a bit more room. The arms are nice and form fitting, and the body has a bit of movement which is very comfortable and breathable.
This shirt is excellent. I feel very protected when wearing it. Had it on for the first time this past weekend for the Hendrickson Foundation Disabled Veteran Hockey Tourney in MN. Only thing I feel the size chart might run a little small. The wrist measurements were real tight and tough to get on and off but they sit very secure in place. I may just have fat hands. 😆. So much better than the thick CCM neck guard I was wearing that my guys would give me a hard time about not being able to breath w a guard and a beard😎. Love the grip that keeps gear in place. Solid product. 🇺🇸

Are there certifications for the USA Hockey mandated laceration protection?
Unfortunately USA hockey does not have any certification requirements currently.
They state “Players are required to wear a neck laceration protector that is commercially designed and manufactured for that purpose.”
We are eager for them to enforce stricter guidelines around the level of protection to qualify as “neck laceration protectors” for the Aug 1, 2024 mandate.
In our testing of other products available in the market, we revealed a very low level of cut resistance due to materials such as Kevlar®, which only provide a level 2 or 3 cut-resistance, depending on fabric weight.
In contrast, our hockey neck guard shirt youth version achieve up to a level A9 cut-resistance, the highest level of cut protection in the world.
How Safe Is This Hockey Shirt After Many Washes?
We tested cleaning with cycles across TEN Durawash twin-tub industrial machines. This is equivalent to 50 washes in a domestic washing machine.
Impressively, the cut-resistance level of our hockey shirts with neck guard youth version increased by 4% following this rigorous washing process. Test reports from INTERTEK are available upon request.

Cut-resistance exceeds level A9, the highest possible level for lab testing.
The lab test is conducted with a Tomodynamometer, or TDM, which pulls a blade in 20mm paths across the material surface under varied gram loads and measures the weight needed to cut through. The sample is cut five times with three different loads and an average is calculated, resulting in a cut score of A1-A9.
After the level A9 test, Titan's proprietary cut-resistant material was still fully intact, resulting in a level of cut protection beyond the bounds of the test.
